Maura Harmon remembered

The death has occurred of Mary Maura Harmon (née Kennedy)
Ballyfermot, Dublin

Harmon, Mary (Maura) née Kennedy May 28th 2022 (Late of Landen Road, Ballyfermot and of the Ballyfermot Family Resource Centre). Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Clontarf Private Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Paddy (who was late of Independent Newspapers). Very sadly missed by her loving family. Loving mother to Paul and Colm,daughters-in-law Paula and Sharon, grandsons Declan, Andy and Joe, sisters Paula, Caroline, Yvonne and Valerie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.



May she Rest in Peace.


Reposing in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Tuesday 31st May from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Wednesday morning 1st June 2022 to Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.15am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.

COVID 19 and the Centre

As a result of the HSE guidelines resulting from the COVID 19 public health emergency, the Ballyfermot Family Resource Centre will be closed to the public with immediate effect.We will continue to provide advice and support to families and the local community through phone(01-6264147) and email (info@ballyfermotfrc.com). We will also be using our Facebook page at Ballyfermot frc to update and keep informed. As well as all the very good public health advice, it is important to look after your mental health to cope with the difficult days that may lie ahead.

New disability access toilet

We are pleased to announce that the new disability access toilet is now completed in the Centre. This important facility is long overdue and has been made possible thanks to funding provided by Dublin City Council.The toilet is on the ground floor next to the main staircase in the Centre.

smoking cessation course starts again

The very successful smoking cessation course for women run in conjunction with the Irish Cancer Society is open again for those women who wish to give up smoking.The course will be run in both the Ballyfermot Family Resource Centre and Cherry Orchard Family Resource Centres. Get your name down if you want to give up those cigarettes!!!
