A sale of work in aid of Laura Lynn Foundation took place on November 14 in Ballyfermot Resource Centre. Over €2000 was raised for the childrens charity.If you want to contribute to this very worthy cause, there is a car boot sale at the Bungalow FRC (28 Elmdale Drive Cherry Orchard) on Saturday November 30th at 10am-3pm
We will be hosting a Halloween storytelling for adults and children over Halloween.The adults session will be on Wednesday, October 30th evening from 7.30-9pm with Joe Lynch while the childrens sessions will be on Halloween itself (October 31st) with sessions for younger children (3-6) at 2pm and for children aged 6-10 at 3pm.
Ballyfermot family Resource Centre welcomes the Family Support Service (part of the Ballyfermot Star project) which began operating from the Resource centre on August 26th.The service is for family members or others that are affected by drug use.Individual members can access one to one support or join one of the support groups.
