Yes, Ballyfermot has its own 1916 heroes.We have just put up a poster and personal testament of Ned Keogh who lived in The Ranch (Lower Ballyfermot/Inchicore). Ned was a volunteer in the Irish Citizen Army, worked in the railway works in Inchicore and fought under Michael Mallin and Countess Markievicz at St Stephens Green on Easter Week.We will have his personal testimony on display in reception for the month of April.Come on down and read his story!
